Find below our new spellings for Spring term 2!
We've had an excellent start to our Food Glorious Food topic. The children spent an afternoon tasting a variety of different foods from around the world, many of which they had never tried before! These foods included: lychees, mangoes, blueberries, figs, mint and ginger. We took our time to look at the foods and describe them. We also thought about how we would eat them and what we would eat them with.

We also had the opportunity to make a delicious Bulgarian dish called banitsa with Mrs. Rayment. This dish includes pastry, feta cheese and yogurt. Here's a link to the recipe:

There will be many more opportunities for the children to make and taste more foods throughout this topic.
Welcome back! I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Year.
