Congratulations to Mrs Corline who was nominated for a DoorStep Arts Creative Hero Award!
These awards recognise the importance of teachers, teaching assistants and admin staff who work tirelessly to ensure that children and young people can engage with vibrant creative opportunities, including drama, dance, singing, music, visuals arts and creative writing/media.
This work is often done for love, and often without formal recognition. It can involve hours of extra time, effort, and care - ensuring that children and young people have opportunities to create, to laugh, to enjoy their learning.
Here is her nomination:
'Tamsin is the most creative person I know! She writes us a unique version of the Christmas nativity every year and fully directs the whole school stage show too! No child is left out, they all have a role to play. This year we couldn't do our normal stage production but that didn't stop Tamsin from putting together a brand new performance that included every single child in the school. She really is a creative genius!'
